Related Attorney(s):   Henry M. Walker

The Tennessee Regulatory Authority (TRA) has requested information about customers, employee salaries and how much is owed to vendors from Memphis Networx and Memphis Light, Gas & Water Division (MLGW). Networx was recently sold to Communications Infrastructure Investments in Lousiville, Colorado and the deal is pending on the approval of the TRA.

Boult Cummings attorney, Henry Walker, has questioned the TRA's jurisdiction in asking for such information.

"We also note that some of the requested information does not appear to fall within the broad parameters of the TRA's regulatory jurisdiction, and the respondents therefore reserve the right to raise these jurisdictional issues at a later time," Walker wrote in an Aug. 30 letter to TRA chairman, Eddie Roberson.
