Tara Cleare's health care practice focuses on a wide range of regulatory, operational and transactional issues, including acquisitions of health care entities and a variety of hospital, physician and health care facility issues.  Tara regularly advises health care clients on a wide range of contracting issues, including those relating to physician employment and recruitment agreements, exclusive contracts and health care vendor agreements.  In addition, she assists clients with regulatory issues, including those involving fraud and abuse, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and Medicare and Medicaid payment issues.

Prior to joining the firm, Tara received her law degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law in May 2001. She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from Vanderbilt University in 1998.

Tara is a member of the Nashville Bar Association (NBA) and is active on the NBA's Minority Opportunities Committee, where she has served as a chairperson for the Minority High School Summer Intern Program.  Tara also is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the American Bar Association (Health Law Section), the American Health Lawyers Association, Lawyers Association for Women and the Napier Looby Bar Association, where she has served as an Executive Board Member.
