Zoning, Land Use and Planning

Clients involved in all aspects of real estate development rely on the attorneys in Boult Cummings Zoning, Land Use and Planning practice for legal counsel. We represent owners of raw land, commercial and residential developers, building owners and purchasers, developers of landfills, lenders and wireless telecommunications tower developers. We also represent owners of property being annexed by municipalities, neighborhood groups and owners of private property being condemned for public projects.

We assist clients in obtaining all forms of land use permits, pursuing the rezoning of their property, seeking zoning text amendments to facilitate development and developing redevelopment plans to remedy blighting conditions. We also are involved in the litigation of challenges to invalid regulations, and we work with clients seeking just compensation for the taking of private property.

Our considerable experience and expertise with all facets of the real estate development process enables us to quickly identify and implement the strategy that is best suited to meet our clients’ needs.
